ACCESS produces a four-block party in the streets of downtown San Diego - open to the public and 40,000 Padres fans.
Major motorcycle manufacturer Kawasaki came to ACCESS with the goal of creating a unique, large-scale event for their top dealers that would showcase the destination and provide networking opportunities. Additionally, the event was to include a public demonstration of the latest Kawasaki motorcycles. The event needed to be BIG and IMPRESSIVE! ACCESS proposed a four-street long block party in the busy streets of San Diego’s busting Gaslamp Quarter. A logistical challenge on its own. On top of that, only one of the four blocks would be private for Kawasaki employees – the remaining three blocks would be open the public…and on the night of a MLB Padres games just two blocks away.
The private block party provided an exclusive venue for the dealers/attendees to network and enjoy and celebrate their accomplishments and network. Guests dined on local restaurant fare while lounging on white leather couches along sidewalks. The event created quite a scene in the Gaslamp – especially when about 40,000 Padres game attendees let out of the stadium. With a perfectly timed motorcycle demonstration show as the game ended, the streets of San Diego were not only filled with roaring motorcycles, but with thousands of newly converted Kawasaki fans!
