A high profile entertainment company came to ACCESS to help produce a commemorative event celebrating a major milestone. The event was unique in that while the company is headquartered in Northern California they wanted to celebrate their event in Los Angeles, the “Entertainment Capital of the World.” Once ACCESS sourced and contracted 7 hotels within walking distance of the venue for 3,000 guests the concept development (a.k.a the fun creative part) began…
It was stressed to us from the beginning that this event had to blow their guests away. This special milestone was something the company wanted their employees to be proud of so we had to make sure the evening was one of a kind where all the guests felt like Hollywood stars themselves. Using the Event Deck at L.A. LIVE we transformed the tent into 5 mini “parties within parties” with each section serving its own trendy new drinks, delicious food and thematic décor and lighting galore. A Hollywood-style step & repeat, sky trackers and “paparazzi” welcomed guests upon arrival to this fabulous event.
From a design perspective the challenge was taking a contiguous tent and creating a celebratory theme that was woven throughout the fabric of the event. The “parties within parties” concept created an exciting flow throughout the evening as partygoers were drawn to the different to explore the entire venue. Each themed section had its own localize entertainment featuring everything from costumed characters, flash mobs, stilted models, living sculptures and graffiti artists. The Main Stage offered such diverse and crowd pleasing favorites as Snoop Dogg and Robin Thicke.
The event was termed “an epic celebration” and an “unrivaled success” by our clients.
