Beth Daniel – Rising Star!
MPI’s Southern California Chapter (MPISCC) recently honored Beth Daniel, Sales Manager for ACCESS Destination Services, as a Rising Star for her many contributions to the local chapter.
With over 15 years of restaurant and corporate experience, Beth joined the ACCESS Palm Springs sales team in 2005 handling corporate meetings and incentive programs in the Palm Springs/Coachella Valley area. She interacts directly with clients on all levels in program development and implementation and her many years of experience make Beth a great asset to the team. Her work at a local venue was instrumental to Beth understanding the operations side of the business and was invaluable to her in her role as Sales Manager. Beth loves the day-to-day client interaction and working hands-on with her many clients and suppliers.
Her five year commitment to “Soroptimist International”, a Palm Springs Women’s Service Organization encouraged Beth in her volunteerism endeavors and she welcomed the opportunity to serve on the Fundraising Committee for WES (Weekend Education Summit) helping to raise money for MPISCC and the MPI Foundation through the various fundraising opportunities during 2007’s WES in Westlake Village. Beth assisted with acquiring several silent auction and raffle items through her supplier partner relationships which helped to raise funds for both MPISCC and the Foundation.
MPI has provided a platform for Beth to develop her network of friends and colleagues as well as to create new business opportunities along the way. Says ACCESS partner, Barbara Smith, DMCP, who heads up the Palm Springs ACCESS Office, “The Rising Star Award from MPISCC could not have been given to a more deserving person than Beth Daniel. Beth handles her volunteer commitments with the same passion and work ethic she gives to her clients at ACCESS Destination Services. We are very proud of Beth’s accomplishments and will continue to support her in these endeavors.”
Possessed of boundless energy, Beth’s free time is spent on the tennis courts, golf course, hiking trails, ski slopes and participating in water sports.

San Diego
North County Spanish-Colonial Estate! Private estates are always in demand for special event venues. Many planners seek out private homes, estates and mansions for their exclusivity and for the welcoming atmosphere attained by dining and socializing in a private residence. Amazing architectural elements, unique furnishings and landscape design complete with indigenous plants are other highly desirable features of interest to guests from all areas of the country.
At ACCESS Destination Services we recognize that this type of venue is often tops on the list of desired special event locations and we make a point of seeking out private homes available for rent for your gala dinner functions, board dinners, daytime special events and pre-dinearound reception locations. Allow us to introduce a grand North County estate situated along the equestrian horse trails that pass through Rancho Santa Fe in North San Diego County.
Lavender, wisteria and gardenias in the front courtyard greet guests as they arrive. Climbing bougainvilleas embrace the whitewashed walls and sweet-smelling roses dot the courtyard. This estate is a wonderful example of Spanish colonial craftsmanship with its extraordinary mix of ironwork from all over the world, columns from Antigua, carved and stained glass doors from Egypt and Mexico and over 100,000 hand painted Mexican decorative tiles. A large dining room and family rooms open to the outdoors while inviting nature inside. A sizeable outdoor fireplace with pizza oven is a tribute to the year-round temperate Southern California climate.
Eco-friendly, the estate nurtures the environment and strives to produce more energy than it utilizes and significant effort has been made to incorporate an environmentally conscious and sustainable infrastructure into the design. Heat generated in the kitchen by ovens, stoves, and refrigeration compressors is reclaimed and recycled to pre-heat domestic water for the house. Other environmentally friendly components include natural ventilation based upon the time-honored construction technique found in traditional Spanish Haciendas, re-claimed Spanish clay roof tiles and even parapet tiles situated in such a way that each one serves as a potential home for nesting birds.
With unerring taste and attention to detail, the designers and builders have created a tranquil and soul-provoking estate with all the comforts of home and the history of a by-gone Spanish Colonial era. Timeless charm shows everywhere in the classic touches that give this estate a sense of undisputed dignity and beauty.
Contact the sales team today at ACCESS San Diego for a preview of this charming venue and to discuss event themes and how to best utilize the estate’s special event features for your group size and demographics.
