ACCESS is Voted San Diego's Best Place to Work!
ACCESS Destination Services is proud to announce that ACCESS was named “ San Diego 's Best Place to Work”, in the small business category, by The San Diego Business Journal at an Awards banquet held at the San Diego Marriott Hotel & Marina on February 23, 2006.
Candidates were evaluated based on several areas including company values, training & education, diversity, testimonials from team members, and employee benefits. Of the benefits, employees rate highest the annual incentive trip, guest included, which rewards goal achievement. General Manager, Jennifer Miller sums up ACCESS team sentiment, “In today's world, we tend to spend more time at work than we do with our loved ones and it is important to find that special work environment that both fosters contribution at all levels, and recognizes the need for work and family balance.”
Since 1970, ACCESS Destination Services has provided the highest caliber of full-service, professional destination management and event production services in the West, including the Los Angeles, Anaheim/Orange County, Las Vegas, Palm Springs and San Diego areas.![]()
Las Vegas
Place your bets! When the chips are down, there's nothing anywhere near as hot as poker in Las Vegas. Thanks to ESPN, poker is no longer a taboo back-parlor game. Names like Johnny Chan and Phil Hellmuth are almost as well known as NFL Football players. With the increased exposure of the World Series of Poker, the game Texas Hold ‘Em has become one of the most popular table games in Las Vegas. As a result of the public's seemingly insatiable appetite for poker, many casinos have re-opened poker rooms for Texas Hold ‘Em and other poker variations such as Seven-Card Stud and Omaha.
Not quite adept with your poker skills? No problem! Let ACCESS Destination Services bring you up to speed at one of our “practice round” poker tournaments – just as fun as the real thing and the perfect training grounds for the big time. We will customize your tournament based on your group size, the degree of poker interest and your desired structure (or lack thereof) for rules.
The evening may begin with a “Texas Hold ‘Em Poker” tournament. This is a fully staffed event designed to bring out the best of the best. Each poker table features colorful chips and a professional Las Vegas dealer (the same dealers who call the ‘real' tournaments on TV). Pit bosses oversee the action in the room. For a tournament option, rounds are timed and winners advance to the next round, while non-winners can visit the bar, mingle with friends, or play informally at their tables. Play continues in this format until the final round ends with one Grand Champion!
