Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

At ACCESS, we consider Corporate Social Responsibility programs one of the most important things we do as an organization and for our clients.  We find ourselves in the unique position of being able to take advantage of the innate desire within all of us to share meaningful, moving and inspiring experiences with others – for hundreds of groups and thousands of people.

Whether you’re working together to build parks, construct new school playgrounds, complete “home makeovers” for military families, or creating and delivering care packages, bikes or stuffed animals to the underprivileged, the positive impact of CSR on local communities and causes is undeniable, and the experience can be just as significant for those doing the work.

ACCESS has produced hundreds of successful CSR programs across the country, but here are just a few examples of the types of meaningful events we can create for you.

Park Build in the Desert

In this award-winning CSR program, a group of 500 participants visited a home for children separated from their parents and transformed an empty dirt lot into a 20,000 square foot park complete with 18,000 square feet of grass, hand-built park benches, a walking path, planted trees and bushes, and they even had time to repaint a local basketball court and skate park…all in less than 5 hours!

Newhaven Boys Home

40 high level corporate executives teamed up with dozens of teens at a home for troubled adolescents in an enterprising refurbishment project for the center which was in need of classroom repair, supplies, technological upgrades and an overall facelift.

School Playground Refurbish / Mural

Over 100 group volunteers from a Fortune 500 technology company spent the day refurbishing the playground at a local Head Start school. Projects included painting a 30 foot mural, replacing playground equipment, and building wagons and tricycles!

Military Makeover

70+ attendee volunteers came to the aid of a young military spouse who found herself unable to keep up with home maintenance while her husband was deployed on his third tour of Iraq. Attendees replaced fences, landscaped the lawn, caulked, painted and built shelves making a huge difference to the comfort and pride of this family.

Charity Bowling Tournament

ACCESS has teamed up with its hospitality industry partners across the country to launch a series of nationwide bowling tournaments benefiting local communities. Throughout the summer,  ACCESS offices across the country hold individual bowling tournaments to raise funds and supplies for local charities and schools.

Special Needs Sports Day

The ACCESS Texas team was thrilled to have the opportunity to produce a very special “Sports Day” for almost 40 special needs children.  The children aged 3-7 were too young to compete in their local Special Olympics so the ACCESS team created their own exclusive Sports Day just for them!  read more

Bike Building

ACCESS has produced dozens of Bike Building CSR events for clients across the country.  It’s exciting enough to know you’re building something so special for a child that will become part of their childhood memories, but when the children come running into the room and see the bikes for the first time, it’s a moment not soon to be forgotten.

School Cleanup

A team of 80 international event attendees got down to business and spent the afternoon enhancing a local school by painting walls with vibrant colors and animal-inspired murals as well as landscaping and enhancing privacy fencing.

Home Makeover

130 volunteers from a building supply company donated their time and efforts to a struggling military family.  Project components included painting the house and trim, cleaning the yard, planting flowers, securing the front fence and terracing the backyard. Special attention was given to mending the broken backyard fence so the family’s small children and their pets could enjoy a secure play area.
