For the tenth consecutive year, ACCESS Destination Services has been named one of the Top 25 Destination Management Companies by Special Events Magazine! DMCs from around the world were selected based on annual revenue, number of events produced per year, capabilities and noteworthy events. Our talented and creative ACCESS Texas team has been servicing clients in the greater San Antonio/Austin area for several years under the leadership of DMC leaders Jeff Davis, Robert Hayden, Patty Phelps, Meredith Hartley and Tammy McCormick, CMP. Growing client demand for full-time, local high-quality DMC services in the area has resulted in the opening of an official ACCESS office in the market. The new location will be known as ACCESS San Antonio.
Leading the team will be industry veteran Tammy McCormick, CMP. Tammy brings more than 10 years of both Sales and Operations experience to the San Antonio/Austin office and is known for her creativity and focus on customer relationships.

Nominations of Entrepreneurs and Chief Executives were submitted from across San Diego county, with 27 semifinalists selected to participate in a rigorous two-day interview process with local leaders and past EOY award recipients. Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony next month at the Grand Del Mar in San Diego.
ACCESS is excited to announce that we were recognized as a recipient of the Shining Star Award for Corporate Social Responsibility at this year’ s Pharma Forum 2014 in Orlando, Florida! The award focuses on celebrating and recognizing the people and companies that are making a difference and demonstrating significant achievement in the life sciences meeting management industry, including Corporate Social Responsibility programs.
The award was presented to both ACCESS and our long-time partner client Dräger for our collaborative work on the”Park Build in the Desert” CSR program.
The event took place at Sunshine Acres – a children’s home in Phoenix, AZ – where ACCESS worked with almost 500 Dräger employees to transform an empty dirt lot into a 20,000 square foot park – complete with 18,000 square feet of grass, hand-built park benches, a walking path, and freshly planted trees and bushes. The team even had time to repaint a basketball court and skate park…all in less than 5 hours!

The Anaheim/Orange County Visitor & Convention Bureau (AOCVCB) recently presented the Certified Tourism Ambassador (CTA) Business of the Year award to ACCESS Orange County during the AOCVCB annual meeting at the City National Grove of Anaheim.
ACCESS Orange County, which currently has 18 CTAs, has been an AOCVCB partner since 1974.
