United States: The Philadelphia 2016 Host Committee for the Democratic National Convention named this Tuesday the event production firms selected to support the Convention’s official welcome parties.
ACCESS Philadelphia, in partnership with J.M. Best Entertainment, will plan and execute the Volunteer Appreciation Party on Thursday, July 21, 2016.
The Volunteer Appreciation Party is the first of three official welcome events hosted by the Committee and it is expected to draw attendance upwards of 7,000 guests.
The event will honor the thousands of individuals who dedicate their time and talent in support of the upcoming Convention. The afternoon will feature live entertainment, locally-sponsored food and beverage and special guest appearances.
“On behalf of John Best, president of J.M. Best Entertainment and my esteemed industry partner and friend, and our entire ACCESS Philadelphia team, we are extremely grateful and honored to play an integral role in the 2016 DNC,” said Maria DiBenedetto, President and Partner of ACCESS Philadelphia.
“We have fortunately served the Philadelphia community for over twenty years by producing signature events and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to have been recognized in this extraordinary way.”
“We are particularly inspired to be producing the Volunteer Party as it aligns with our firm’s passion to continuously celebrate the impact and value of volunteerism.”
DiBenedetto also echoes her appreciation in sharing this endeavor with fellow Philadelphia-based firms.
Cashman & Associates and AEC Partners will plan the Media Party on Saturday, July 23rd and Stockton & Partners, Inc. and Perfection Events, Inc. will plan the Delegate Welcome Party on Sunday, July 24th.
“I have the utmost respect and admiration for these firms. We collectively live and breathe special events in Philadelphia and it’s a privilege to represent our industry together for what will surely be a memorable moment in time for the city and our firms.”
ACCESS Philadelphia and J.M. Best Entertainment will be responsible for event themes and décor, partnerships including, but not limited, to catering, tenting, furnishings, staging and production, entertainment and programming.
“These three parties will provide the first Convention week experiences in Philadelphia for our volunteers, delegates, and members of the media, and I am confident the event planners will help us put together a series of unforgettable events,” said Kevin Washo, Executive Director of the Philadelphia 2016 Host Committee.
“We are proud to partner with these event planners to showcase locally-and minority-owned businesses that highlight the rich and diverse nature of Philadelphia and the region.”
